What is Loved? A moisturizer made with a combination of cold pressed, unrefined, organic, and ultra-nourishing plant-based oils that deliver intense moisture, retain hydration, and renew the appearance of the skin.  Loved will replenish vital nutrients with key ingredients that show promising results, based on scientific studies, in their ability to stimulate new cell renewal and improve elasticity. Your skin will look and feel soft, supple, and radiant.

How does Loved work? Loved contains powerful phytochemicals (plant ingredients: lipids, actives and essential oils), that were selected for their high content of antioxidants, vitamins, essential minerals, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA’s) and essential fatty acids (EFA’s), all of which are critical for healthy skin function including lubrication and barrier protection. Star Ingredients:

Sacha Inchi Oil: healthy-aging, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. Considered one of the highest plant-based sources of omega-3, much higher than salmon. It is also high in antioxidant vitamins A and E, iodine, and omega 6 and 9.

 

Passion Fruit Seed: Emollient, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory. Contains omega-6 EFA linoleic acid and piceatannol, which are essential for maintaining the integrity of the skin’s epidermal barrier, preventing transepidermal water loss (TEWL), and UVB protection. Studies show that Piceatannol, a compound found in large amounts in passion fruit seeds, helps inhibit melanogenesis and promotes collagen synthesis.

 

Pomegranate Seed Oil: Regenerative, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and hydrating. Contains elagin acid, an antioxidant that helps fight free radicals; and punicic acid—an omega 5 fatty acid with strong anti-inflammatory effects, which aids in skin repair.

Your skin follows a circadian rhythm that influences biological functions such as cell renewal, DNA repair, barrier protection and moisture loss. Recent studies show that the lowest DNA repair and highest sebum production happen in the mornings; the highest cell proliferation (new cell growth) happens at night; and the highest TEWL (moisture loss) happens in the afternoons, evenings and at night.  

 

Loved may be used any time of day but for optimal benefit we recommend applying at the following times to synch with your skin's chronobiology:

 

Morning: for oxidative stress protection

Afternoon and Evening: for hydration

Night: for renewal and repair

 

Loved is a potent combination of highly concentrated plant lipids and actives. This anhydrous (waterless) formula is designed to be customized for your skin's needs by diluting with water or using it in its undiluted form. A little goes a long way. For best results and spreadability, apply to damp skin ideally after cleansing or toning. Massage a small amount onto face, neck and décolleté areas. Loved has a rich velvety texture that is non-greasy and easily absorbs into the skin. Use as a stand-alone moisturizer or in combination with other moisturizers and specialized serums.  Take it on the go and pair it with our skin toners to apply as needed throughout the day. Don't forgot to apply sunscreen during daylight hours.

 

A note about unrefined oils: Unrefined oils have not been bleached or deodorized. Some of the ingredients contain carotenoids, enzymes and other compounds that may appear as yellow, green or orange and may smell pleasantly earthy and nutty. This is normal and natural. The oils will quickly absorb as you massage into the skin, leaving only a radiant, healthy glow.
