We love to collaborate with local, sustainable, small businesses so we're excited for this Friday's event at Proto 101, which is happening in parallel to downtown Seattle's Art Walk. Tea Flight & Soundscape Ritual

Join us for a unique sensory experience. Indulge in mood-enhancing teas and other botanicals while immersing yourself in a soothing soundscape created with a collection of Crystal Tones Alchemy Singing Bowls. Let the calming sound transport you to a state of relaxation as you savor each sip.​

Event Flow:

• Doors open at 3pm for guest seating and intros

• We will begin with a mindfulness ritual: calming breath and aroma

• Guided tasting flight featuring 3 purposeful beverages (teas and other botanical caffeine-free options available)

• The entire journey will be supported by an ambient harmonic soundscape, performed by Paula Sjunneson, to enhance your tasting experience

• We will conclude with a gentle mindfulness stretch to encourage blood flow and prepare you for the rest of your day. We'll send you off with a delicious beverage sample to enjoy at home.​

Stretch & Sip: CoreHavn Candlelight Stretch + rue Santé Tea & Botanical Blending Workshop

We're so excited to be a part of The Gathering's upcoming event!! This includes a 45 minute candlelight stretch led by Cat DeHaven, owner of Core Havn. She’ll guide you through a challenging yet restorative series of stretches using the XFormers. 

We'll walk you through a one hour workshop that will cover Tea and Botanicals 101, steeping methods, and guided blending instructions. Sip on relaxing botanical brews and snack on some small bites while you learn about tea and botanical beverage basics. You’ll finish up class by creating you very own custom blend to take home and enjoy, or to gift to a loved one.

Each attendee with go home with:

• A bespoke take-home blend of tea (8 oz jar with custom label)

• A Bodhi Leaf Strainer (stainless-steel leaf strainers for loose leaf botanical beverages and other food & beverage preparations)

It's the 43rd annual Winter Festival hosted by the Phinney Neighborhood Association and we're so excited to participate.

Candle Refill Bar

Come out and join us for a festive, zero waste event. We're setting up a candle refill bar at Mimi's Zero Waste Market on November 25th.

From the organizers: "The Seattle Design Jam will bring together manufacturers, designs, students, and community members for an afternoon of brainstorming innovative ideas to utilize cardboard and plastic packing (materials often thought of as waste ) for use in product packaging.

Participants, working in cross-disciplinary teams, will develop solutions that transform these materials into new packaging for locally made goods, new product ideas for consumers and businesses, as well as novel solutions for community projects."

No New Clothes Clothing Swap

You are invited to join the Remake Seattle Community in collaboration with Seattle Restored Market for a clothing swap that aims to transform the way you engage with the clothes in your closet for the next 90 days...and beyond!. While attendance is free, donations (suggested $10) are strongly encouraged. If you are able, please consider making a contribution. All proceeds will directly support the effort to make fashion a force for good. Remake is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Leftover clothes will be donated to Dan McLean, a local designer dedicated to reducing waste through upcycling and teaching others about the beauty of sustainable fashion.

World Oceans Day Happy Hour
